The Lazaret was created
in 1865 by the protestant community of Sète and run through the 1901 law association with the aims of developing social and family tourism. All year round we welcome groups, seminar groups, families and singles. An oratory is available for debates, conferences and religious celebrations. The land belongs to the Protestant Foundation of France and you can make donations.
Like all recognized foundations, the foundation allows donators to benefit from two tax provisions:
once you have made a donation you will get a receipt allowing you to:
- Either a 66% reduction of what you have donated will be taken off your personal income taxes, (however you can not donate more than 20% of your earnings)
- or 75% of your donation will be taken off wealth tax, with a limited donation of 50,000 euros per year.
