The route starts just past the Port des Quilles, with a wide, 1 km-long seafront promenade joining the Marseillan-Plage cycle path at the Avenue de la Méditerranée traffic circle.
Here, you can branch off and continue towards the Pointe des Onglous, where the Canal du Midi empties into theEtang de Thau, and the picturesque port of Marseillan-Ville.
